Wyatt Horner (6’3” Combo Guard | Redmond HS) continues to separate himself as one of Oregon’s most accomplished and consistent guards, building on last season’s 2nd Team All-State campaign while firmly holding his spot as the reigning League Player of the Year.
A four-year Varsity contributor and two-time All-League selection, Horner has turned long-term development into tangible results. Earlier this season, he etched his name into school history by breaking Redmond High School’s all-time scoring record of 1,168 points, previously held by Marty Leunen, an Oregon Ducks legend and NBA draftee. Horner now sits at 1,192 career points, with 12 games still remaining, and the number continues to rise.
This season, Horner is producing across the board, averaging 21.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. His impact goes well beyond the box score, but the numbers tell a clear story, especially after a dominant 42-point, 11-rebound performance against Ashland, one of several moments that have defined his senior campaign.
What separates Wyatt is not just production, but longevity and consistency. Four years at the Varsity level. Leadership earned, not assumed. A scorer who rebounds his position, competes on both ends, and delivers night after night. As the season heads into its final stretch, Horner isn’t chasing records anymore, he’s extending them, setting a standard that will be hard to match long after his time at Redmond is complete.
