Dash Nicely Commits to Linfield University

McMinnville, OR –– Dash Nicely has officially committed to Linfield University, where he will continue his academic and basketball career at the college level.

Nicely, a 6’6 versatile forward from Westview High School, put together a strong senior season and made an impact on both ends of the floor. His commitment is a special moment for Dash, his family, and everyone who has been part of his basketball journey.

During his senior season at Westview, Nicely established himself as one of the top frontcourt players in the Metro League. He averaged 11 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1 block per game while shooting an efficient 57% from the field.

His production, versatility, and consistency helped lead Westview to the playoffs this season. Nicely’s ability to finish around the basket, rebound, protect the rim, and impact winning on both ends earned him 3rd-Team All-Metro League honors.

At the next level, Nicely will join a Linfield program that gives him the opportunity to continue developing as a student-athlete while competing in a strong college basketball environment. His size, efficiency, and versatility give him a foundation to keep growing and contribute at the college level.
