Moraga, CA –– Sam Curvy has officially signed with Saint Mary’s College, where he will continue his academic and basketball career at the NCAA Division I level in the West Coast Conference.

Curvy has continued to establish himself as one of the top versatile players in Oregon throughout his career at Jesuit High School. The 6’5 guard/wing played a major role in helping lead Jesuit to back-to-back OSAA State Tournament appearances, including a 3rd place finish this past season at the Chiles Center.

As a senior, Curvy averaged 11.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while contributing to one of the most balanced and competitive teams in the state. His toughness, basketball IQ, positional size, and ability to impact winning on both ends of the floor made him a key piece for the Crusaders throughout the season.

Known for his versatility, Curvy has the ability to guard positions 1–5 while also stretching the floor offensively and making high-level winning plays. His complete skillset and team-first mentality make him a strong fit for the culture and style of play at Saint Mary’s.

At the next level, Curvy joins one of the premier mid-major programs in college basketball. Under longtime head coach Randy Bennett, Saint Mary’s has built a national reputation for consistency, toughness, and winning at a high level within the West Coast Conference. The Gaels have become a perennial NCAA Tournament program and continue to develop players capable of competing professionally after college.

For Team Progress, Sam’s signing represents another major milestone for the program and a testament to the work, development, and commitment it takes to reach the Division I level.

Congratulations to Sam Curvy on signing with Saint Mary’s College. Team Progress is proud of everything he has accomplished and excited to see what’s next in his journey.
