Dayton Jenkins Finishes the Les Schwab Invitational as the Leading Rebounder

Updated: 4 days ago

Dayton Jenkins (Westview HS) delivered a statement performance at the prestigious Les Schwab Invitational, continuing his high-energy, hustle-driven style of play while anchoring Westview to a strong 3–1 tournament record. Jenkins finished the event as the tournament’s leading rebounder, pulling down 10 boards per game and consistently impacting the game on both ends of the floor.

Over four games, Jenkins showcased a complete all-around game, averaging 15.5 points, 10 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2 steals per contest. His efficiency stood out just as much as his effort, shooting 52% from the field and an impressive 50% from three-point range, he punished defenses while still doing the dirty work that doesn’t always show up in highlight reels.

What separates Jenkins is his consistency and motor. Every possession, every loose ball, every rebound matters, and he plays like it. Whether crashing the glass, pushing the tempo, or making timely plays for teammates, his presence was felt in every matchup throughout the tournament.

Performances like this don’t happen by accident. They’re the result of preparation, discipline, and a commitment to impacting winning in multiple ways. Dayton continues to bring effort, consistency, and production to the floor, this was a complete tournament showing that reflects his growth and value to Westview’s success.
