History Made: Andwele Bridges Is Forest Grove’s All-Time Leading Scorer

Updated: 4 days ago

Andwele Bridges has officially etched his name into Forest Grove High School history, becoming the program’s all-time leading scorer. Bridges surpassed the long-standing record of 1,373 career points, previously set by Taylor Jensen in 2016, marking a major milestone in a career defined by co

nsistency, growth, and production.

A four-year Varsity player and two-time First Team All-League selection, Bridges has steadily developed into one of Oregon’s most reliable and dangerous scorers. This season, he has taken another leap, emerging as one of the state’s leading scorers at 22.7 points per game, while carrying the offensive load night after night.

What makes the accomplishment even more impressive is that Bridges isn’t finished. With nine regular-season games still remaining, he will continue to extend the record as Forest Grove pushes toward a playoff berth. His scoring record is not just a reflection of talent, but of durability, work ethic, and long-term commitment to the program.

Breaking a record that stood for nearly a decade is no small feat. Doing it as a four-year Varsity contributor and league standout speaks to the consistency and impact Bridges has had on Forest Grove basketball. As the season continues, he isn’t just chasing wins, he’s continuing to build a legacy that will be remembered long after the final buzzer.
